Hi, I am currently exploring the possibilities of returning to work when in receipt of income support/incapacity benefit. I am unclear about the amount that can be counted as "therapeutic" work before benefits are lost. It is such a big step returning to work after a long period of illness, part time hours would be ideal initially but I am not sure how to go about it. Any suggestions on where I can get good info on this?

Hi Rob,

Good luck with getting back to work. I don't know a lot about what you're asking but I believe there are people called "Disability Employment Advisors" who work at Job Centres, who should be able to help.
