Yesterday I ran up a big hill nearby (One Tree Hill actually) three times in a row. It is interesting because the first time I ran up was the hardest in terms of cardio fitness. Later it was my legs that starting giving out.
It is as if your body acclimatises to the cardio requirements and prepares you for the next time you run up. Does anybody know the scientific reason, and is there specific training method(s) that can help improve it?
