Being interested in other people offers you new ways to view yourself. I have a good friend who is currently fighting cancer. He's still surfing! I recall what the playwright Dennis Potter said in his final interview before he was finally exhausted by the disease....something like this.....I looked out of my window this morning and the blossom had arrived. It was the blossomest, blossomest, blossom I have ever seen.
